Free development samples and garment development
Validate fit, fabric and finish before you commit a single unit to production. For genuine wholesale buyers, development samples are free.
The sampling stages
Development sample: proves the design and construction in available fabric. Fit sample: in correct fabric for fit approval on your model or form. Pre-production sample: the bulk standard with approved fabric, trims and labels. Shipment sample: pulled from bulk as the final record. Not every style needs every stage; simple repeats often go straight to pre-production.
In-house development
Pattern making, grading, print development, strike-offs, lab dips and trim sourcing are all done by our own team in Guangzhou, which is why we can turn a development sample in 7 to 14 days for most woven and jersey styles and 14 to 21 days for outerwear.
Free samples, fairly
Development samples are free for wholesale buyers with a genuine production intention. We ask that courier costs are covered, and for complex outerwear or heavily embellished styles we may agree a sample fee that is credited back against the bulk order. Terms apply and are confirmed in writing before we start.

Sampling & development questions.
How many free samples can we request?
Typically two to four styles per season to start. Once we are producing together, sampling for new styles is part of the normal development cycle.
Can you work from a photograph?
We can produce a first development sample from clear photographs and a measurement spec. A physical reference garment gives a faster and more accurate result.
Do you provide fit comments?
Yes. Each sample ships with a measurement chart against spec and our pattern team's notes on any proposed changes.
